About the Course
Anthropology 33 is a lower division course in the Anthropology
Department at UCLA that satisfies the general education requirement in
the social sciences and introduces some basic concepts in linguistic and cultural
anthropology.
This Web page contains some of the materials used in the class, including
the current or latest syllabus, introductions and study
questions for each of the readings used in the course, examples of past
