Monday Fono, August 1988 (First Monday of the month, meeting with the pulenu`u).

Kava call. The tufa`ava (orator Manu`a) announces that the kava is ready to be distributed and therefore the cup-bearer should come into the circle of matai and distribute the kava to the chiefs (kamaali`i) and orators (faleupolu).
