Monday Fono, August 1988 (First Monday of the month, meeting with the
pulenu`u).
The fourth cup of
the kava ceremony is for the pulenu`u (here roughly translated as
'Mayor'), the orator Falefâ, who is the one who chairs this
particular type of meeting. He sits in the front part of the house with
all the other important orators.
